Forensic Planning & Delay Claims
We understand the process for Forensic Delay Claims can place builders in difficult situations. Solid Support is the firm to support you through this trying process. As a mid-sized consultancy firm, our Forensic Planning services are competitively priced, professional and personally delivered by our dedicated consultants.
Our company’s technical expertise is drawn upon our 30 years of experience of planning construction projects within Australia. The delivery of our service is based on real relationships. Not too big. Not too small.
Our products include:
Assessment and response to EOT Claims
The appraisal of Extensions of Time (EOTs) claims under the terms of the contract in comparison to onsite events / progress.
Assessment and response to Expert Reports
The preparation of a report analysing project data and forming our opinion on the correct entitlements to the Contractor. This helps Principal in understanding their position in relation to the subjected delay claims.
Preparation of NOD & EOT Templates
In order to support Contractors with their NOD and EOT claims, we prepare Templates to be used during the contract period. We include the time-related clauses from the Contract in the Templates to make it easy to address the cause of delay and time bar compliancy. Our NOD & EOT Register can be used to summarise the notices and claims in one document. The Templates offer Contractors a way to quickly and consistently prepare NODs or EOTs that include all necessary information to prepare a successful claim.
Contract Review of Time Related Clauses
Thorough analysis and consultation of time related clauses in construction contracts during the tender period to avoid or minimise the risks of future claims or disputes.
Preparation and submission of EOT Claims
The preparation of Extensions of Time (EOTs) claims under the terms of the contract in comparison to onsite events / progress.
Preparation and submission of Expert Reports
The preparation of a report analysing project data and establishing correct entitlements to the Contractor’s Extension of Time Delays. This helps the Contractor in submitting a fully substantiated delay claim to the Principal in line with the requirements of the Contract.
